The comedy “Hot Tub Time Machine” directed by Steve Pink describes to the viewer four friends (Adam, Lou, Nick and Jacob) at their forties. All of them are bored, fed up with their lives and pressure of wives, girlfriends and other people, who are close to them. They want to escape from the daily routine and change the life, in other words, to relax.
All of them decide to have a rest by drinking a lot in a bar. During the party they are drinking Russian drink, meant to give the energy and power. But accidentally and to their great surprise the drink produces on them another effect. Somehow the friends find themselves more than 20 years back in the year 1986. Now they have a chance to look back, change their future the right way, not to regret afterwards. Someone finds real love; someone learns a lot from this trip and even finds mojo.
The actors John Cusack, Craig Robinson, Rob Corddry and Clark Duke did their best to create really cute and funny scenes and amazing dialogs. The previous film by Steve Pink “Accepted” differed in many aspects from the new one, full of crazy laughs and ideas.
“Hot Tub Time Machine” gives the viewer the opportunity to forget about ordinary routine and laugh to the heart’s content.
