The romantic comedy from writer and director Jann Turner centers on the wedding of two beloved, which is to take place in Cape Town, South Africa.
Charming Ayanda can’t wait to merry her sweetheart Elvis, and dreams of the perfect white wedding. The date of the ceremony is already determined, but the problem is, that the would-be husband is not in Cape Town yet, but in Johannesburg, which is in 1800 km from the SA capital. Elvis is a quite positive character: a sincere and committed man, loyal to his word. To get in time to the very significant event of his life, Elvis sets off by bus Tuesday night, going to Durban. There the bridegroom intends to meet Tumi - a good friend of him, who is also a best-man. To his surprise, Elvis doesn’t find Tumi at the Durban bus station, as they agreed. And that is only the beginning of funny and ironical happenings and misfortunes, which follow Elvis and his friend on the way to Cape Town, where the first one should reunite with his bride. The journey of these two turns into a really big adventure, both comic and fascinating.
