The romantic comedy from filmmaker Nanette Burstein tells us the touching story of love in distance. A new single Garret gets acquainted with a charming and very outspoken young woman called Erin during their occasional meeting over beer. But a banal chat in the bar turns out to be something more serious than both of them expected.
Garret is absolutely taken with Erin’s wit and frankness, and the unforgettable evening they have spent together develops into the romantic breakfast next morning. And further relations of these two grow into great passion, which captures the main heroes for all the summer. But then they will have to part with each other: Erin has to go to San Francisco to finish her studies, while Garret has to stay in New York City because of his job.
The beloved, separated by such great distance, continue to communicate via phone and sms. Short messages and long passionate talks at nights is the only way for both to save their sudden but very strong feelings. And as far as they love and need each other, neither distance nor the disapproval of relatives and friends could prevent Garret and Erin from loving each other… The film stars Justin Long and Drew Barrymore in the title roles.
