The remarkable comedy, based on the original screenplay, written and directed by Jordan Galland – is his debut as an independent feature film. The plot of the story is closely connected with the Holy Grail, Hamlet and pretty sexy vampires – three things, that seem to have nothing in common, but not in this film.
Julian Marsh is a great ladies’ man, who lives above his father’s medical office. Daddy is so much anxious about his son’s unpromising future that decides to help him to find a job. To his luck one of his dreadful patients offers Julian to become a director of an off-Broadway play. This is an eccentric adaptation of a well-known masterpiece by Shakespeare, Hamlet. The adaptation is written by Horatio - a pale Romanian, who appeared to be a master vampire. Julian starts his activity with recruiting actors. His ex-girlfriend is also invited to take part in the play. But none of them knows, in what kind of show they got involved. Neither garlic, nor holy water can save their lives from the conspiracy, which numbers at least two thousand years. Nothing, but the Holy Grail!
The unusual sense of humor of the film together with the star cast, including such celebrities, as Jake Hoffman, Devon Aoki, John Ventimiglia, Kris Lemche and Ralph Macchio offer really unforgettable performance to the audience.
