Directed by Bryan Poyser, the film “Lovers of Hate” is a perfect example of the combination of good actor’s play and the scenario, also written by Bryan. This is the story of two brothers, two completely different brothers. Their behaviors, destinies, the way of thinking are not alike. Alex Karpovsky in the role of Paul and Chris Doubek as Rudy are two camps, which are the most of the time in war and conflicts.

Throughout the film the relationship between Paul and Rudy is shown: the way they contact with each other, the way they solve the problems between them. Paul likes to write stories for children and makes success. Rudy, the elder brother, gives the ideas and inspires him to write from the early childhood. Rudy also writes, but he cannot succeed in this sphere as much as his brother does.

It seems that the only thing they have in common is their attitude to Diana. They both love her pretty much and cannot live without her. She is Rudy’s wife. But Paul courts her strongly and the marriage between Rudy and Diana crushes.

The film is full of amusing moments, helping the viewer not only to concentrate on the relations and the routine problems of two brothers, but also to have a rest and laugh to his heart’s content.
