A new provocative film by the notorious filmmaker Harmony Korine, “Trash Humpers” maintains the distinctive features and traditions, typical for Korine’s style. The great mix of comedy and horror is one of the peculiarities of the plot of the film.
Imagine the shady suburbs with the night lights and the small gang of guys on the street, famous by their bad manners, destructive behavior and antisocial actions. They are called trash humpers.
They have chosen a non-traditional way to have fun. Being adults, they still prefer to behave like scamps. They use hummers to break down TV-sets, they ride bicycles dragging baby dolls, commit gang vandalism in garbage cans, urinate in public places and do everything possible to shock the public and amuse themselves in such a way. “Trash Humpers” is sending a challenge to the morality of the world we live in and encounter the public reaction.
Alongside with the destructive and antisocial pictures, Korine’s film is well provided with dancing and poetry, including some really touching moments. Starring in the film are Paul Booker, Chris Crofton, Chris Gantry, Dave Cloud and Charles Ezell.
