Dating, romantic affairs and love are not spontaneous and depend on the concurrence of circumstances. Since the humanity of the future invented a super device TiMER, all of these things became predictable. People buy TiMERs and the only thing they have to do after that is waiting, till the tiny machine implanted into their wrists display the accurate time: day, hour and minute, when his or her soul mate is appear.
Oona in her thirties is not the exclusion. She also has a revolutionary device in her wrist, but it doesn’t work the way it should. The dispay is empty and the problem is that her would-be partner for life doesn’t have TiMER. What should she do? Time is running, and the woman is still alone. Desperately Oona tries to search for her possible partners among those, who do not have implanted device, but this method of exclusion ends by nothing.
Tired from this unceasing search, the woman decides to break off the rules, the whole society is living by. Occasionally she found herself in love with a charming clerk of a local supermarket, who has only four months till the date of his destiny, according to the TiMER data.
The film, directed by Jac Schaeffer, touches upon a very interesting question: how foreseen can be love?
